About the images

Very few freely available historical photographs of Kubinka itself have survived. The authentic image of Kubinskaya Square and the bazaar from 1905 is in the public domain (Wikimedia Commons). The remaining images are artistic AI reconstructions of the atmosphere of the old quarter (Google Gemini), labelled accordingly; these are not documentary photographs.
